WURFFEL GRANT - CONTINUING EDUCATION FOR ROSTERED MINISTERS
The New Jersey Synod Wurffel Fund provides annual grants for continuing education for rostered ministers. A rostered minister may apply for and receive a grant every year. Wurffel Grants are available in two categories: (1) Short‐term educational events (2) Academic Course workWurffel Grants for short‐term educational events shall usually be limited to two‐thirds (2/3) of the total cost. If the event has a high application fee and/or is at a location that requires high travel costs, a higher amount may be possible. Higher amounts may also be possible for persons who do not have continuing education money available through their congregations or agencies.
